I've been working as a web designer since mid 2008, after taking a summer internship with edelight.de while travelling in Germany
I was lucky enough to walk into a job at transitgraphics upon my retun in October 2008.
I hand code all my sites to W3C web standards & have a wide range of experience building user friendly sites based on popular CMS & ecommerce platforms.

Designed by Emma & Tom in London, Hawley's was translated into a custom magento e-commerce store.
The ILAD site is a completely table-less & valid XHTML/CSS joomla template designed & built from scratch.
A simple one-page site showcasing the clients projects. Featured is a custom javascript slider gallery.
Currently undergoing an update to joomla to manage the large inventory, the newgel site was one of my first builds.
Designed on a simple 3-column grid, The template for this joomla site was built to be scalable.
I graduated way back in 2006 with a bachelor of Industrial Design from the University of Canberra.
After working for a year in Exhibition Design I made the move to web and haven't looked back.
My industrial design studies have definately influenced the way i approach projects & i still enjoy visualising & developing in 3d.
One of the main aims of this design project was to bridge the stylistic gap between skiing and snowboarding.
The matching set was designed to suit the high end market. clean geometric shapes aim to compliment existing trends in appliance design.
The aim of this design project was to create a product that could effectively combine resolved functional features and construction techniques to satisfy the needs of the elderly market.
3dsmax & vray are my weapons of choice for final outputs, but I tend to use an array of software for my modeling.
I usually start with Rhino & if necessary progress to pro engineer. I have dabbled with modeling in 3dsmax & Cinema 4D too.
A third year project, and my first attempt at rendering with VRAY.
This was an indepth modeling / plastic moulding exploration.
An intricate pro-engineer model was developed & rebuilt several times for this project. Minute tolerances and tiny edge radius' were incorporated & finally rendered in 3dsmax.
I occasionally delve into print, usually it's to produce business cards for clients. I follow print ready conventions as close as possible before sending jobs off for proofing.
When given the chance, i try to create a consistent & recognisable design theme for web & print media.
